digitalLab is a simulator for playing around with digital logic gates. You can add components such as AND, OR, XOR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XNOR and a 7 segment counter.

You can wire them together to form simple binary circuits and add binary SWITCHes to power them up as you wish. You can simulate the circuit in auto-clock trigger mode or manual mode.

Note that each gate has a trigger leg located midway at the bottom. If its wired, that gate will clock only with respect to triggers on that leg. This way you can try out Shift Registers etc.

Options are available to prob each wire to see the Boolean value it holds, making learning easier. The auto trigger time can be adjusted from 1 sec to 10 seconds or can be set to manual trigger.

You have various options to share your circuits with your friends. You can email the circuit as an attachment or copy the circuit in a text form. There are options to upload picture of the circuit in Facebook and twitter too.

Please note that the pictures of the components are NOT per any industry standard, they are only meant to make learning the logic behind binary arithmetic easy for students.

TRY LOADING THE SAMPLE CIRCUIT TO GET A PICTURE ON HOW TO USE THE SIMULATOR.

Kindly note that this is not a fun game... This is a study tool. You can enjoy it only if you understand binary...And the graphics is not great...please dont expect funny rainbow colors here...

Amazing app
Can be very useful for students. Wish I had this when I was in college. Very nicely organized options, needs some getting used to though. Tip : From the first screen in the given pictures, if you tap on the middle button, it give you an option to load sample circuits. That will help the first timers...
Cool simulator. Perfect for learning digital electronics. Pay attention to settings...
You can create circuits and save it. Also you can send circuits you designed to a friend to try! That is a cool option. I have bought this for my nephew who is studying digital electronics and he enjoying it a lot. The interface is nice but might take some getting used to, particularly the option to align the wires. You can miss out some of the functions if you dont pay attention to settings. An execellent app for digital lovers.
Mr
Very nice app. I can do everything that I can do in an actual lab like adding components, connecting etc. Can remove components and wires and change connections and see them working. I can swap different gates etc. and more!
Nice and simple app
Really a good one to design and see the output in one place. Need to read the instructions carefully to begin with
Very useful app for students
